Pop Queens were to the fore in August, and they feature strongly in our pick of videos featured here last month.

The return of pop royalty Doja Cat, Demi Lovato and Chappell Roan in the US was mirrored by new videos from Perrie and PinkPantheress in the UK - and two Sevdaliza videos directed by Tanu Muino.

And even if August was a bit Augusty - and reasonably quiet in terms of releases - there were lots more good things besides.
