London R&B singer Demae showcases her new track with a playful visual by Ivor Lawson-Adamah.
In the studio-set video for Don't Play The Fool the artist and director have devised an abstract and symbolic form of fishing, with Demae on both ends of the rod and line. It's a charming visual for a lovely track.
“The approach for this visual was to create some kind of visual abstraction about the process of introspection, all wrapped in a surreal and colourful bow," explains Lawson-Adamah. "Sometimes we cast out our line, seeking out answers or solutions but often we only have ourselves to turn to.”
