Duncan Loudon's latest collaboration with electronic musician William Phelps - aka Tourist - is an excursion, with echoes of a past summer.

The video for the brilliant Outside is a firsthand motorbike journey, a lone biker's trip from England to mainland Europe via the Channel ferry, captured on a 90s DV camcorder. The film unfolds like a personal travelogue, with the rider’s face remaining unseen, and his trip compressed into moments by the mostly rapidfire edit.  

Shifting between raw POV shots and quiet roadside pauses, it feels immersive and carefree. The combination of subject matter and the early digital aesthetic captures the warmth and freedom of a summer road trip that echoes the song’s spirit. And that track is an absolute banger.
