How do you keep a Videos Of The Month list down to 25 videos? With great difficulty that's how. The month brought another splendid collection of videos by directors of all stripes, at all stages of career experience, and on various budget levels. 

It doesn't tell the whole story of the month. The big release by Beyoncé means that her video album is only available to buy, not to stream (yet).  As for Kanye, adopting Wareheim and Aziz's holiday video as the official video for Famous was probably a no-brainer. Still, back in the real world, there's plenty to watch and listen to on YouTube and Vimeo while we wait for more Prince material to trickle onto the internet...

So after much deliberation, here are our picks for April '16 - from Bloc Party (above) to Zak Abel.
