The 1975 'A Change Of Heart' by Tim Mattia
Cat Velez - 25th Apr 2016
Tim Mattia’s ongoing collaboration with The 1975 forges on, with a departure from the slick, studio aesthetic established in The Sound to a charming scenario for A Change Of Heart, an assured episode of Chaplin-esque silent comedy.
Combining some lovely black and white visuals with cute choreography, we see the band's frontman Matty as a mime, keeping himself entertained at a night time carnival. When his female companion shows up, their interplay is delightful - but the change of heart comes, when she starts to realise that this clown is more into himself than her.
