Piers Dennis celebrates the awesomeness of Rebecca Taylor - aka Self Esteem - through a heady mix of documentary footage and composed performance for The 345.

Dennis' fifth video for the artist features candid backstage footage that he has filmed over the past year during her rise to alt-pop stardom, capturing her most exuberent, and most tender moments.

The energy and emotion expressed by Taylor in this revealing footage is cannily counterpointed by a simple head and shoulders shot of Taylor, shot in the style of a classic Hollywood portrait, in which she performs this momentously moving song.   

Beautifully made, the black and white aesthetic creates a timeless snapshot of the last twelve months, and is a perfect showcase of Self Esteem's journey so far. Bloody marvellous.
