David Knight - 2nd Dec 2014

November proved to be one of the best months of 2014 in terms of music videos - arguably the best. Certainly it was a month where some of the heavy-hitting directors returned to the medium, some after a considerable length of time.

Firstly there was Kahlil Joseph's FKA twigs video for Prelude/Video Girl, his first since the Flying Lotus video that won Video of the Year at the UK Music Video Awards in 2013. But Kahlil's video hiatus pales in comparison to that of Encyclopedia Pictura - Metronomy's Upsetter is there first since their Bjork video that won Video of the Year at the UKVMAs in 2008 (and they have more coming).

November also saw new videos (and the first of the year) from Megaforce (for Broninski), Yoann Lemoine (Black Atlass), AlexandLiane (Hercules & Love Affair), CANADA (She & Him) and Keith Schofield (Bastille Vs Grades). And so much more besides. Yes, a very good month indeed...
