Tajana Tokyo celebrates the joy of dancing in this infectious promo for Mercury Prize-winners Ezra Collective.
The video for God Gave Me Feet For Dancing tells a classic story of young people - a boy and a girl - who express their attraction to each other through dance. Only they are much better dancers than most people.
Performing under bright, tracking spotlights, the dancers - Michelle Zan and Kitz Katika - make the most of the nighttime exterior locations, effortlessly transitioning from place to place. In some respects it has a theatrical, old Hollywood vibe, reminiscent of vintage musicals and on-stage theatre productions.
Bracketed by naturalistic shots of the characters talking and drinking outside a pub, the concept is presented as an escapist fantasy that's also realistic, and does a brilliant job of visualising the upbeat music.
