Director and animator Kims Mihailov directs an atmospheric animated promo for producer Paul White. The video for Glory In Stories explores the relationship between inner joy and space, and how one can create a sense of freedom in a claustrophobic environment. Boasting a surreal yet dreamlike aesthetic, the video follows the protagonist s her desire to break free overwhelms her suffocating surroundings, and she is transported away from the city. Blending imaginative collages of spacious landscapes with ethereal textural elements, it's an absorbing video with a distinctive, singular style, with Mihailovs employing AI to generate the lead protagonist in the video. “I created 3D environments while maintaining a collage style for the characters, chopping up AI-generated photos of limbs in Photoshop to animate body parts separately," explains Mihailovs. "I used transform tools and distortions to simulate movement, ensuring that the environment's lighting matched the characters."This project also marked my first use of Video AI for close-up and dancing shots. The AI performed well for minimal movements, creating natural hair and head tilts, and its distortions during more intense motion perfectly complemented the video's blend of reality and imagination."

Will Kennedy directs a steamy promo for Jamie Irrepressible's eclectic music project The Irrepressibles. The video for the marvellous alt-rock anthem Will You? takes place at a deserted bar, where real-life couple Lewis and Courtney perform, thrusting and swelling in line with the track. Evoking raw, uninhibited vibes with the gritty cinematography and hazy aesthetic, the video drips with sexual tension in every frame. "It was a rare dream to collaborate with The Irrepressibles on such a liberating vision of uninhibited intimacy and vulnerability," Kennedy explains. "Jamie’s music transports you to another world, and we wanted to crystallise that sense of cathartic escapism with the video."I’m so grateful to our lead performers, Lewis and Courtney, for bringing such breathtaking energy and compulsive chemistry to the video. I loved every minute on set with such an incredible cast and crew.” A dazzling feat that visualises the pulsating track with stylish flair.

Portia Barnet-Herrin explores conflict and escapism in her promo for Aurora Dee Raynes' Crazy That You Love.Focused on a relationship that is fizzling out, we see Aurora vocalist Danielle Kranendonk run and hail a cab, leaving her on-screen partner - played by Emmanuel Ogunjinmi - alone in the cold.We see snippets of the relationship, intertwined with a laidback performance, where Kranendonk leans out the top of the cab, allowing the breeze to take her away in the moment.
