Director Celia Giraldo and CAAPSAI collaborate on this transformative promo for Barcelona-based singer-songwriter and composer Maria Arnal. The video for Tictac stars Mia Sala-Patau and Jordi Arnal in a narrative that pushes the boundaries of digital technology. Using Gen-AI and VFX to create a surreal visual language that mirrors the experimental nature of Arnal's music, the visual has ambitious, epic scope, seamlessly blending digital textures with organic realism. It's a stirring experience, showcasing AI's new position in the VFX workflow, with a more contained, inspired usage. Just as significant are the contributions of DoP Pau Mira and art director Laura Santos, the executive leadership from Maria Vives and producer Anna Bacardit. The film's distinct look was further refined through specialised editing by José Ostos and colour grade by Martí Somoza and Max Lainz. The project marks the second major collaboration between CANADA and Maria Arnal this year, following the release of the Que Me Quiten video directed by Jonathan Cremades and recorded during the Grid Sessions by MIRA Festival. Both songs shone at Barcelona’s Paral·lel 62 official launch of AMA, an album that explores the vulnerability and strength of the human voice.
