Sergi Fiddes directs an idiosyncratic promo for new artist Abraham French. The video for Emergency follows two disenfranchised firefighters traversing busy Camberwell streets in response to a dollhouse fire. It's a fever dream of animal costumes, landscapes and colleague camaraderie - using body rigs to give an arresting, intimate perspective to the proceedings - which builds to a fiery climax. "Shot at the height of [last] summer, we got to light a dollhouse on fire and run around fields with silly body rigs," explains Fiddes. "We had no resets of the dollhouse and had no idea how it would light up on the day so it was all shot in one take."Considering we only had one chance at this, we figured it'd be more economical shooting at a higher frame rate as we'd capture more footage whilst simultaneously making it look more heroic and epic in scale. Kudos to our DOP Joe Kennedy and the camera team for being agile enough to get all the field shots we wanted whilst also keeping it pin-sharp amidst the sweaty chaos."Also, kudos to the talent for their stamina on what was a jam-packed two day shoot all while wearing very heavy body rigs. Incredible feat considering it was done with little to no budget."

Algerian-French director Lyna Zerrouki delivers an expansive vision of the meaning of exile in her beautifully crafted video for Palestinian singer-songwriter and rapper Saint Levant.Described as 'the artistic response to our pain', the video for Exile takes place in an huge empty space, dominated by an ice blue backdrop. Blue represents the cold sensation that comes with being forced into exile, far away from his warm, colourful home.But this is also a world which provides a creative space where the artist can perform and collaborate with his orchestra - which happens in the latter part of the video. "Aesthetically, I wanted to create a different world, a surreal world in which art is the solution," says Lyna Zerrouki. "The message is universal, we’re all human beings and we all deserve peace and justice."Saint Levant and the orchestra playing under the rain represents a form of resilience. It shows that no matter what happens to us, we will keep playing, we will keep pushing and create beyond the circumstances we are in. To me this song is in part about conquering one’s pain to turn it into something glorious and beautiful."Inspired by film icons whose colour language she reinvents (Kieslowski and the symbolic impact of colours in Trois couleurs:Bleu), Lyna offers a palpable contrast between the icy blue of alienation and sweet memories. A visual language that is enhanced by the use of other media such as dance, fashion and film direction to create a world that is both poetic and surreal.

Zebulon Griffin directs a cathartic tale for singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen. The video for Matches follows a carefully-crafted narrative, of a man returning home to confront painful childhood memories.The lingering, black and white cinematography gives the visual a vintage feel, harking back to traditional storytelling techniques. Paired with inspired performances and a considered edit, it's a lovely visual that reflects the introspective track. "In an age of fast cuts and flashy imagery, we wanted to create an engaging story with intentional and patient camera work that invites the viewer to lean in," says Griffin."The resulting music video paints a harrowing journey through childhood trauma and grief."

Oliver Blair directs a darkly enigmatic promo for singer-songwriter and actress Ruxa. The video for Campfire presents a burlesque love story set against acid-trip noir. With vibrant lighting and a mysterious narrative interwoven through trippy vignettes, it's an alluring vision full of longing and introspection. Elevated by stunning choreography and moments of theatrical flair, it's a great visual accompaniment to the lilting track.
