George Moore Chadwick delivers a smart take on a Stanley Kubrick classic for Birmingham singer-songwriter Joe Khalique-Brown.

The track is Strangelove, so the director reimagines Kubrick's immortal movie Dr. Strangelove, to dovetail Khalique-Brown's angst-ridden psyche.

In high-contrast monochrome, the singer rides a missile (or large firework), Slim Pickens-style, through the city, bouncing around a vintage map, and contemplating his inner fears in a darkened space, echoing the movie's iconic control room.  

It's distinctive and well executed, inspired yet not taking itself too seriously. And what is really impressive is that is was shot in a couple of hours, on the back of George Moore Chadwick's video for Khalique-Brown's Junkspace. Good stuff.
