Joe Khalique-Brown 'Junkspace' by George Moore Chadwick

Promonews - 24th Aug 2026

George Moore Chadwick's video for Birmingham singer-songwriter Joe Khalique-Brown's Junkspace is a riff on Spike Jonze's classic for Weezer's Undone - The Sweater Song. Although this time the video itself seems to be gradually falling apart.

Chadwick's camera enters a studio where the crew are setting up the video shoot, with Khalique-Brown positioned in front of a simple bluescreen set-up, so he can be propelled into 'junkspace'.

The singer proceeds to perform a couple of takes - although like the Weezer video, it's all achieved in a single steadicam shot - and things start to go horribly wrong.

There are no dogs running amok in this one, but it's a neatly executed idea.
