Sekou Abineri directs a mesmerising video for the return of singer-songwriter Joan Wasser - aka Joan As Police Woman - dissecting the anguish that comes with a passionate love affair through dance, on a deserted stretch of beach.

Clara Davidson and Emma Aldjia Belabed play the lovers caught mid-argument in their broken-down car, as the black-clad Joan walks by and then observes how their conflict unravels via expressive movement. It's a process which explores unbridled emotion in a controlled and dramatic fashion, to accompany the delicately soulful Full Time Heist.

Abineri has made this three-way performance from Joan and the two protagonists wonderfully cinematic, not least through the use of a striking location, on the Sussex coast near Hastings. For the London-born director who has been working in France lately - he directed a lovely video for Aime Simone last year - it's an impressive return to the UK.
