Craig McLaughlin directs a cinematic dance-based promo for London-based musician Silverhours' debut release. 

Inspired by the works of German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch, the video for Doldrums explores the concept of involuntary memory and how senses such as smell and touch can trigger a past experience. 

The camerawork, rousing movement and editing contrasts against the brutalist, rugged architecture and monochromatic colour palette, creating an enigmatic atmosphere that feels both spontaneous and engaging.
