The video for This Morning follows lead singer Michelle Paterson who enters a liminal dreamscape, seeking out a mysterious companion who visits her in her dreams. The pair embark on a peaceful journey through snowbound suburbia, relishing in the friendship that they have... until she wakes up.The hazy, surreal aesthetic feels unnerving yet calm in equal measure, a strange dichotomy that parallels the two worlds of reality and fiction. With gentle camerawork and lingering shots - very good work by DoP Luke McCutcheon - it's a beautifully executed vision, highlighting Shears' skill with character work and atmosphere. "Shot over a very snowy weekend in Toronto, this is a story about incomplete dreams taking place in a shoe-gazey landscape," explains Molly Shears."During the making of this music video we set out to explore the cyclical pursuit of something intangible, where a companion, a feeling, or a piece of one’s self is forever just out of reach."

Aidan Zamiri reunites with Yung Lean to take a ritualistic journey through the streets of Budapest, with Lean riding a truck carrying a coffin of himself, and very large speakers. Like Zamiri's previous Yung Lean video for Bliss, featuring FKA Twigs, the video for Forever Yung is all about an eventful journey, unhinged from straight reality, bordering on the chaotic. With less of the slick pop style of his celebrated videos for Charli xcx and Billie Eilish last year, it is still the distinctive work of the director while connecting Yung Lean with 'real people'. There's plenty to read in here, that may or may not be relevant - its shot in Hungary, cradle of European Trumpism. Yung at some point sports an Uncle Sam outfit. His truck passes crowds with messages on their T shirts, like I Hate Women.As with the Brat phenomenon last year, Zamiri is riding the zeitgeist again, this time with darker, 2025 stuff.

Jared Malik Royal directs a darkly enigmatic promo for new alt-pop artist Bruses. The video for Coma Party is based on a true story, written by Bruses. In an atmospheric industrial location, a group of mysterious strangers circle round the artist, taking part in an almost ritualistic dance. With strobing lights and fog-filled frames, the video builds to an explosive climax.

NEON KISS's promo for Ashden's Need is set between two places, a dream world and reality, as the rapper seeks to make sense of it all. Punctuated with gritty, slow shutter effects and an experimental aesthetic, we follow the artist as he journeys through liminal spaces and an abyss-like environment.Moving to an expansive coastal landscape for the latter half of the visual, it's a simple yet brilliantly executed concept that complements the enigmatic track. "When Ashden played us the song and told us the meaning behind it, we immediately envisioned him in sort of a dream world colliding with reality," the director duo explain. "A place we inhibit when troubled, trying to seek answers but at the same time constantly reminded by the environment to stay grounded."
