Andy Favre self-directs this atmospheric promo for his music project Alpine Universe.

The video for Tool takes place in an industrial studio set, anchored by stunning fire displays, stunts and confident performance. 

Favre collaborated with fire artist Kenton McDougall - aka Kentor - to create this video. Consequently it feels like a mix between live show and performance video, and an excellent showcase for the music and talent. 

"The Alpine Universe is more than just a place: it's a mindset, a philosophy and a way of life," explains Favre. "Set in a dystopian future, the high-octane energy of the music is supported by an impressive fire choreography and a full band with drums, cello and violin and of course... a burning bass guitar!"

"Kentor designs, builds and wields fire weapons for a living, with his most famous creation being the giant sword he calls The Dragon Slayer. Kentor and I were fans of each other's work for many years and the concept of the song fit perfectly with our combined aesthetics."
