Harry Barber directs an enthralling promo for Joe Unknown. "Joe came to me with the idea of burning this painting, which had some semblance of a journey finishing," says Barber. "And, as one journey ends, leaving behind a time and a body of memories both fond and bitter, a new one often starts."The promo is strikingly simple in concept, but contrasted against the tense atmosphere and rising screeches of sirens in the track, it becomes a powerful, gripping image. "We wanted to create something that had a beauty to it, but a contrasting chaos and anarchy brewing at the same time," continues Barber. "Something that felt reflective but energising. Something that pulls you in to that hypnotic state and then jolts you back out ready for pastures new."It's safe to say they've gone above and beyond their aspirations with this project.

Ethan + Tom direct a Tarkovsky-inspired video for singer-songwriter Ethan P. Flynn - a bold one-take of Flynn's performance in front of a raging inferno. Shot in Kazakhstan, the video sees the artist at first traversing a spectacular landscape: a lake, backdropped by mountainous plains and a dreamy red sky. Flynn is walking towards a light, which is revealed as a small wooden house, engulfed in flames. The video is an external representation of the inner turmoil of the lyrics of the song Father Of Nine, and as Flynn performs in front of the burning house, the camera smoothly drifts wider and then closer, to capture the intensity of the experience. And it's such a powerful image.

James Barnes directs a fiery promo for Scarlxrd in the latest result from his longstanding collaboration with the artist. For the video for The Walking Dead, Barnes strips things back to basics, with a cinematic aesthetic which encapsulates an impassioned performance. It's a simple yet fitting concept, which boasts plenty of headbanging and slow-mo shots of roaring flames and the artist's haunting new mask."The Walking Dead is a homage to one of Scarlxrd’s favourite bands Slipknot and their Psychosocial visual," explains Barnes. "I’ve now hung him from a train, had the Russian mob shoot him, chucked him down a snowy Hungarian cliff and set him on fire. Long may it continue!"

Kara Marni embodies the elements, in Rebekah B Creative's fashion-centric promo for 2nd Nature. Water, air and fire are infused into the concept for the video, visualised through stunning set design and breathtaking styling, with an enchanting performance tying it all together. Projected colours and patterns add an extra texture to the visuals, whilst slow, deliberate camera movements encompass the sensual vibes of the track."2nd Nature is about natural desire," says Rebekah. "The visual is built from three scenes inspired by three natural elements that Kara dominates and controls - water, air and fire. The styling and art direction were orchestrated to work harmoniously as we saw this mainly as a fashion-centred performance video."Embodying each element through texture and colour pallette was the most prominent task. Big ups to Anastasia Busch on styling, Kai Blamey as DOP and Alan Scott on set design."
