Grimes is locked in perpetual battle in the fantasy epic for Player Of Games, directed by Anton Tammi. 

Based on a story written by Grimes herself, we see the artist in a series of high-concept vignettes, at war both physically and emotionally with an enigmatic knight. 

It seems that they have some past baggage to work through, and they do so in theatrical games of chess, exhilarating sword fights and otherworldly adventures.

The soundtrack is mesmerising, incorporating fight scene foley and a vast array of sound effects, which helps build the fantasy world and elevates the visual to a new level.
