Jeff Lynne’s ELO 'When I Was A Boy' by Warren Fu
Cat Velez - 3rd Nov 2015
Warren Fu has created this impressive FX-driven video for When I Was A Boy from Alone in the Universe, the first new album in decades by Jeff Lynne's revived Electric Light Orchestra.
With Lynne's formative years played out in a single rightward moving pan, it's a strong, suitably nostalgic visual re-introduction to ELO; a promenade through scenes of his life, from playing on stage in his youth to his current self older age, book-ended by striking shots of Lynne as a starry-eyed young boy.
And the post work was achieved, aptly enough, at the new LA outpost of Electric Theatre Collective.
