Samuel Douek directs a musical theatre-inspired promo for returning pop icon Will Young. 

The video for Falling Deep sees Will and a handful of dancers perform some understated yet captivating choreography, as if in a rehearsal for a stage production, touching upon Will's own previous experience treading the boards in musicals such as Cabaret. 

Shot at the Palace Theatre in Watford, the focus on light, reflections and shapes brings a stylish sensibility to the visual, with mirrored sets and high-angle perspectives to elevate the scenario. And Will's deadpan performance of the disco-inflected track, while the dancers throw shapes in the theatre stalls keeps things suitably lighthearted.
