Anne-Marie finds good reason to suspect that Aitch is up to no good, in Samuel Douek's entertaining video for Psycho.Douek creates a boisterously colourful, almost cartoonish series of environments in which Anne-Marie can wreak havoc upon Aitch's attempts at serial cheating. The director's approach gels nicely with the light-hearted tone of the collaboration between two of the UK's biggest pop stars.And he gets sterling support from the production design by&nbsp;Tilda Bonham Carter, styling by Cora Delaney and Justin Rose, and the casting of Aitch's numerous other girlfriends.[imgtoken data:1]"The idea of the video was to empower anyone who has been in Anne-Marie’s position before," says Douek. Samuel Douek directs a cinematic performance promo&nbsp;for Tashan.&nbsp;In the video for Oprah, Tashan faces off ‘The Bad Guy’ in an all-or-nothing, high-stakes astrological poker game. She puts her fate in the hands of the deity Aquarius when betting it all, securing her inevitable victory."It was an amazing experience getting to direct this music video," says&nbsp;Douek. "The song is about being a bad-ass bitch - inspired by the eponymous TV personality - and that natural stardom is something the artist emanates. The aesthetic for the film was inspired by Tashan’s Swiss and Indian heritage and transports us to a surreal future where amber skies tower over cyber cities."The rich colour palettes and inspired art direction help bring the concept to life, and the setups are&nbsp; seamlessly&nbsp;integrated through clever visual effects work.&nbsp;"The VFX were created by the amazing Felix Geen to move between the reality of the poker game and the metaphorical fantasy of intergalactic travel," continues Douek.&nbsp;"We managed to pull off a really ambitious shoot with an incredibly talented crew. From the creative director Anita Chibba (Diet Paratha) to the art director Furmaan Ahmed and stylist Sachin Gogna, we were able to pay tribute to Tashan’s heritage with a crew made up predominantly of South Asian HODs in an authentic way whilst catapulting the film into an otherworldly future."&nbsp;

Samuel Douek celebrates the power of dance in his energetic promo for Sigala.&nbsp;The video for Melody was inspired by the rich culture of Mexico, and follows a woman who rides the bus on her way to work, unexpectedly bringing a full dance party with her.&nbsp;As she sits down to start her daily routine, she jumps between the real world and a hyper-stylised dream world, where everyone enters an explosive fantasy of colour and choreography.&nbsp;Transcending the confines of the bus, we see the party spill out onto the street, in a celebratory string of vibrant performance vignettes.&nbsp;Throwing shapes around several picturesque locations in the city, it's a beautiful video to look at, and a true&nbsp;tour de force&nbsp;of creativity and collaboration.&nbsp;Working with a full Mexican cast and crew it was&nbsp;Douek's first&nbsp;video with&nbsp;CAMP on the other side of the Atlantic, in collaboration with Violeta Films.

Samuel Douek directs a warm and reflective promo for Mabel's Time After Time.&nbsp;You've probably heard Mabel's cover of the Cyndi Lauper classic on the McDonald's Christmas commercial this year, which depicts the story of a girl who outgrows&nbsp;her imaginary friend, before a trip to a McDonalds restaurant&nbsp;jogs her memory.&nbsp;The visual interpretation in the official music video is quite different, opting for a real-life, heartfelt concept which ponders love and loss,&nbsp;remembering those who are no longer with us, whilst looking forward to the future.&nbsp;The genuine emotion&nbsp;and intimate setup of the vignettes makes for a profound viewing experience, whilst Mabel's performance is spot-on as always.&nbsp;

Exploring issues such as sexuality and body image, Douek ends the concept with a message of hope and optimism.&nbsp;"This is not a story of suffering, but a coming-of-age tale about accepting who you are and finding love for yourself."&nbsp;Douek notes. "We may live in a progressive society, but we are all under constant pressure to fit in, especially in the age of social media."

Samuel Douek directs an empowering promo for Little Mix's Love (Sweet Love).This is Douek and the&nbsp;group’s third collaboration, celebrating ten&nbsp;years of Little Mix, and is the title track from their&nbsp;forthcoming album.The concept was inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite art movement and the lesser known Sisterhood that romanticised nature and emboldened women through painting.“I wanted to celebrate Little Mix as the regal queens they are; unimpressed by a cohort of Knights that vie for their attention,” explains Douek.&nbsp;The opulent promo is shot in a spectacular orangery-style space, adorned with a mesmerising selection of plants, whilst the styling and makeup create a fantasy world that really bring the track to life.&nbsp;This is one of the first films to come out of CAMP Productions, recently founded by Douek and executive producer Francesca Woods.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Samuel Douek presents a "love letter to London nightlife" in this visual tour de force for Little Mix's Confetti.&nbsp;This is the band's first release as a three-piece since the departure of Jesy Nelson, and shows the artists launched into&nbsp;a dance off between&nbsp;themselves and their male alter-egos.The project was very personal to Douek, and includes&nbsp;dancers and party starters from his personal circle, as well as icons from the latest Drag Race UK series – Bimini, Tayce and A’Whora.&nbsp;At six minutes in length, the video is no doubt a major event in the pop sphere, and is paired with top-notch cinematography and creative perfection across the board, from styling to costumes to art direction.It's great work to launch the next chapter of the Little Mix&nbsp;story, a great precursor to their win at last night's Brit Awards (May 11th) winning Best British Group, for a record breaking third time - and making an inspirational&nbsp;acceptance speech to boot - and certainly&nbsp;a big step forward in Samuel Douek's development as an exciting new Brirtish pop video director.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]
