Samuel Douek directs a warm and reflective promo for Mabel's Time After Time.Â
You've probably heard Mabel's cover of the Cyndi Lauper classic on the McDonald's Christmas commercial this year, which depicts the story of a girl who outgrows her imaginary friend, before a trip to a McDonalds restaurant jogs her memory.Â
The visual interpretation in the official music video is quite different, opting for a real-life, heartfelt concept which ponders love and loss, remembering those who are no longer with us, whilst looking forward to the future.Â
The genuine emotion and intimate setup of the vignettes makes for a profound viewing experience, whilst Mabel's performance is spot-on as always.Â
