Noel Paul directs an uncanny, bizarre and hilarious promo for Portland-based rock band Portugal. The Man - featuring unruly team mascot Tank Dog. 

Filmed (mostly) in Alaska - where the band originate - the video follows the all-pink character's anarchic progress through a snowbound community, bouncing between causing a nuisance and trying to find a sense of belonging in a series of eyecatching vignettes - including, most ominously, strapped to the roof of a moving monster truck, firing a machine gun.

As the freezing conditions, and a group of young boys, get the better of Tank Dog, the climax of the video sees a sudden change in location - to a carnival in Colombia. It's quite possibly the most 'Noel Paul' video ever... a high compliment indeed.
