Guido Gallo Fabris directs a playful one-shot video for Macy Gray & The California Jet Club.
The video is a captivating exposé which depicts the importance of love and community, as the unmistakeable Macy Gray and the band members finally reunite for a studio session, after months spent in lockdown, to perform Thinking Of You.
Taking inspiration from iconic videos such as Weezer's Island In The Sun, the visual has an overarchingly captivating aesthetic, with just a touch of something unusual and abstract, as we hear Fabris's voice directing the performers before the song takes over.
Completely immersed in their performances, Macy and the band eminate a sense of communal energy and passion, and it's a beautiful way to reintroduce the musicians to the public.
