Aliyah Otchere directs a haunting performance piece for Rachel Chinouriri.

Exploring the depths of love and the many forms it can take, we see Rachel Chinouriri shapeshifting in pursuit of perfection in the video for Plain Jane. Her compelling performance expresses a smouldering passion and pain, for something or someone that has been lost. 

Boasting ethereal styling and striking hair and makeup, Otchere working with wardrobe stylist Naomi Barling, hair stylist Shamara Roper - who created the remarkable 'Medusa' hair look in one of the vignettes - and makeup artist Georgia Hope, featuring clothing by new designers including Dreaming Eli, Connor Joseph Baxter and Lucky Little Blighters. 

The vignettes intermix and bleed into each other, visualising the often messy nature of love and loss - and the focus is always on Chinouriri who elevates the piece with her layered performance. It embodies the concept whilst leaving space for mystery and a sense of the unknown.
