Shot on 35mm with hand cranking magic - courtesy of DoP Natasha Duursma - the video is an evocative trip into the artist's mind, punctuated by wistful memories of a relationship.With a soft, dreamlike vibe, the video exudes a sense of yearning, elevated by gentle performance and a candid, unobtrusive camera. An emotive debut for the artist, masterfully executed by Kuziw and team.

Tony Curran plays a taxi driver remembering the love of his life in Michael Sherrington's wistful promo for The Snuts. Sitting in his taxi, a lifetime of memories play out on the backseat, giving viewers an emotive peek into the main character's past life. Curran (Mayflies, Mary & George) gives a nuanced performance as a person dealing with the passing of his wife, while Sherrington's direction allows the narrative to develop to produce something very moving.“Grief can be so traumatic," says the director. "In my personal experience of loss I have been struck by the complexity of the emotional journey. "At times I have found it better to face this path head on rather than locking these feelings away. So when the band approached me with this track and we discussed its themes I was interested in creating a film that explored this difficult subject."It was great collaborating with Tony on this challenging and sensitive subject matter; he is such an incredible talent. He really embraced the role and was totally committed to exploring this journey with me.”Elevated by Jamie Quantrill's striking cinematography, it's a must watch. The video for At What Cost is a thoughtful meditation on the end of relationships, and the emotional turmoil that comes with such a vulnerable period. Anchored by beautiful performances and striking locations, the video presents a universal emotion in an intimate, personal way, and is a great complement to the lilting track."The concept for this video revolves around the willingness to sacrifice long-term healing for short-term relief," says Alex Joss Thompson. "Ella spoke of when she'd had her heart broken and the physical pain that came with that. How in that moment she would’ve given anything to put a pause on it all and ease the withdrawal by spending one more night together, despite knowing and not caring that it was probably the worst decision she could make at the time."As the director I also wanted to show the complexities of a relationship and how over time the smallest of moments can lead to it's eventual end. I wanted to show how both parties can play a part in the demise of a relationship and how even though it may be one person bringing it to an end, it doesn't take away from the personal pain they feel when deciding to finally walk away."This was all further conceptualised by the scenes on the beach that represent the inner thoughts of Ella's mind, how she searches and longs for the memory of that person and even when she does eventually find that memory it can just as quickly dissipate into reality."
