Chris Ranson directs an impressive live performance video for Labrinth, inspired by the artist's work on the HBO show Euphoria. 

Taking place in an expansive venue hall, Labrinth performs four tracks in succession, backdropped by a hypnotic LED screen and corruscating laser lights. 

The buzzing energy of the promo is elevated by DoP Stefan Yap's dreamlike cinematography, rotating and gliding through the space with silky smooth precision.

Lab is one of the best performers I’ve ever worked with so directing him on the day was a dream. 

"Having worked with Labrinth and the guys at [agency] Kamp Grizzly before, there was already a really solid understanding of what we all wanted to achieve. Then we worked together to create a concept inspired by the show Euphoria (from which Lab is the Emmy-winning composer) but with our own twist on it. After a few different ideas we settled on the ‘Winter Formal’ approach; a conceptual take on that classic trope.
