Nia Archives is on the run in Iris Luz's exuberant video for the London singer's new&nbsp;Britpop-influenced banger.Relentless forward motion is the name of the game in the promo for Boys In Blue. Playing off the theme of the track - a former lover who 'snitches' on her to the police - Nia is&nbsp;running through the streets of Hackney and the nearby wide open spaces of Hackney Marshes.But keeping things as upbeat as the track, Nia is also relaxed and carefree in Luz's lens. She manages intimacy with the camera while running, framed within quick cuts of her running through different places and timelapse footage of London's homebound commuter traffic, in a vibrant cut by editor Geri Docherty.&nbsp;iris Luz has also shot the photography for Nia Archives' new album and she says:&nbsp;“Working with Nia is a joy as the song has such a rhythmic aspect to it, I&nbsp;wanted to emphasize that in movement.”&nbsp;

Shreya Jha takes Ledbyher through interconnected worlds for the propulsive&nbsp;Up To My Neck In U.The settings are surprisingly anachronistic for the up and coming rapper and producer who bounces hyperactively through settings which include a&nbsp;formal period dinner party scene and an old-fashioned puppet theatre - featuring a puppet version of Ledbyher."I wanted to do something a little unhinged, very art-heavy, and letting it live like a film," says&nbsp;Shreya Jha.&nbsp;"Rachel [LedByHer] moving through different worlds in a slightly Lynchian, weird, not-quite-linear way."We did four different set builds, one of which was an idea I really wanted to do, where we built miniature puppet version of Rachel and created a puppet show. This took seven days of prep, plenty of prototypes, but my production designer smashed it and created exactly what I envisioned. I myself sewed the clothes the puppets are wearing, I think this was the most a project has consumed from me literally."Super proud of what the team pulled together within the budget limitations and a super ambitious concept."

That’s why the miniature park is such a powerful starting point. It’s a world that is at once charming and eerie. Everything is familiar, but it’s too small, too artificial, too perfect."When we place our heroine in this world she instantly becomes estranged from it: she is either too large for the space, breaking out of it, or she’s wandering through its streets like a ghost who doesn’t belong."

Fiona Jane Burgess directs the latest video&nbsp;for The Last Dinner Party in a real departure from their canon up to this point: a poignant, character-driven&nbsp;short film with no appearance by the band.The promo for The Scythe follows an elderly couple (played by Richard Durden and Eileen Nicholas) on a quiet journey through the English countryside, focussing on a series of scenes on the journey. Without a backstory or dramatic arc, it invites the viewer to fill in the narrative details themselves - and find&nbsp;beauty in the ordinary and unspoken.[imgtoken data:1]“The Scythe is a song about love, and so this film is a testament to that," explains&nbsp;Fiona Jane Burgess.&nbsp;"The band came to me with an idea about seeing an older couple on a journey, and I thought that was refreshing since we live in such a youth-obsessed culture."I also love road movies, so it was fun to have the opportunity to make one! The actors were fantastic and brought so much energy to the screen despite two very long and demanding shoot days."The shoot itself was an adventure, driving from place to place discovering hidden gems with a brilliant crew and meeting locals along the way (some of whom are in the film!) I worked with cinematographer Mika Altskan and we shot on 35mm 4-perf which was a dream."So many people helped bring this film to life and I'm so grateful to The Last Dinner Party and their team for being such amazing collaborators.”

Harv Frost returns with another spectacular promo for The Last Dinner Party - a surreal Soho-set Western for the first release from the band's second album.&nbsp;The video for This Is The Killer Speaking transforms London streets into a Western-style town, complete with its own dive bar, fashion and... ethereal centaur. Okay, maybe that's a new addition.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]In the same ambitious, stylish and often surreal aesthetic as Frost's previous collaborations with the band, it's a fresh vibe and a great introduction to the follow-up to their acclaimed debut LP&nbsp;Prelude To Ecstasy.&nbsp;HARV FROST:"Returning to work with TLDP was a dream, after collaborating together on the videos for the first album and our short for the album&nbsp;Prelude To Ecstasy. We have built such a rich mini-cinematic universe that was a joy to dive back into.[imgtoken data:2]"This time it was about doing something different, we wanted to burn the book on what we have done previously, and create something that combines all we have learnt from our previous videos."The pitch for the video was ‘the band wreaks Western-style havoc in Soho’ so I knew from the start it was going to be a challenge in itself - around the band’s availability we could only shoot on a Thursday morning for the Soho scenes, so that meant lots of curious passers-by&nbsp;and stopping traffic.[imgtoken data:3]"This a complete contrast from the locked-off controlled environments we were used to shooting in for previous videos, it posed a new kind of challenge. Thanks to 1st AD master Rose Lucas and the rest of the crew we managed to pull it all off while causing a bit of a scene."For this video my references were stooped in classic spaghetti westerns like Fistful of Dollars, Django and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly,&nbsp;but wanted to give them this acid-western feeling and shoot them in a way that felt modern without being too pastiche. It was about carving out our own style.[imgtoken data:4]"The challenge was making something that felt unlike past TLDP videos that still kept that DNA. That theatricality and character but with a new lick of paint, a darker palette and an even a bleach blonde wig for Abigail. And in typical Last Dinner Party fashion, a western without horses, but rather, a centaur!"Always such a privilege to work with this powerhouse of a band, and to kick off the campaign for their second album."

The mirror becomes a portal. The barber’s chair, a site of quiet change. Fragments of Kae’s past performances are woven into a hypnotic rhythm, a dialogue between memory and voice.As the film builds, Kae is joined by a crowd of queer performers and dancers. There’s no spectacle, just joy, rawness, and presence.
