The concept is elevated and taken to cake-smashing heights in Erland's glossy visual, which meditates on relationships, friendship and new beginnings.And, of course, by the unexpected movie star presence of Florence Pugh, who plays Rachel's best friend. Having heard the song and reached out to the singer directly on Instagram, Pugh made this casting coup possible, and then plays a supporting role in the video in more ways than one. She is the best girlfriend who helps her lovelorn pal after a traumatic incident - revealed in full towards the end. Her appearance, and her chainmail party dress, is attracting tabloid attention - but Florence is not the star of the show, and she withdraws from Rachel's spotlight at crucial moments. The result is a thoroughly enjoyable and great looking video - excellent work from DoP Jake Hunter and colourist Alex Gregory - and the latest in a growing number of impressive collaborations between Chinouriri and Erland.

Vittoria Rizzardi Peñalosa directs a dazzling promo for Izzy S.O cutting between high-energy performance and surreal narrative vignettes, to visualise the emotional struggle of piecing your life back together after a big change.In a dreamy montage of humourous yet intertwined sequences, we see Izzy climbing up out of an emotional hole while her love interest is enduring the same feelings, but dealing with them in a different way. Anchored by realistic performances and some brilliant art direction, the video is an angsty fantasy that proves there is always a silver lining when young love fizzles out. "It’s about the fear that rises up when you finally have to sit with yourself," explains Vittoria about the video for Without You I Don't Like Sundays. "It’s reminding yourself that you aren’t just a sum up of the people in your life but you have the power to pick up the pieces and create a new reality for yourself and what's to come."

Will Pope directs a touching film about the break-up of a love affair for singer-songwriter Montrell.Featuring Marek Oravec and Victoria Valcheva - who also starred in the Pope-directed video for Montrell's Aqua - the story flashes back and forth through the affair, from beginning to end to in-between, with poignant results.Pope says he was struck by the conflict in the lyrics of Simpler In The Dark. "From the first line alone, it's clear that this is about a turbulent relationship," he says, adding that the structure of the video derived from looking for new ways to show the highs and lows in a relationship. "When you break up with someone, you end up playing moments back in your mind over the days and weeks afterwards. They just jump out at you seemingly out of nowhere, as your mind tries to make sense of the trauma. So it seemed a non-linear narrative would be the best way to present this story."The resulting film is a bittersweet montage of those critical moments, spanning the moment the couple first meet and the events that lead to their breakup. All brought to life by our wonderful actors Victoria Valcheva and Marek Oravec, and tastefully lensed by Francis Boyter."
