Femi Ladi directs an emotionally affecting promo for singer-songwriter Myles Smith, featuring a powerful performance by Patrick Martins.

In the video for My Mess, Martins plays a man struggling with his mental health, and attempting to mask his problem, and growing anguish, by trying to push through and appear as normal as possible. 

In quiet snapshots of life, from studying at home to socialising, to moments alone, it's a very relatable concept of vulnerability, excellently captured by Ladi and given tremendous resonance in Patrick Martins' performance. And it leads to cathartic release while, in an intimate setting, he watches Myles Smith perform the song.
