Director duo King She create a brilliantly imaginative promo for French-Cameroonian artist Yamê.

The visually striking promo for Shoot draws from a pivotal fall in Yamê’s childhood, which shaped both his distinctive teeth and identity.

Opening with a symbolic crash, we are then transported to a surreal, MC Escher-inspired inner landscape of dense complexity, representing the artist's inner chaos and struggle.

Boasting a mesmerising montage of VFX and trippy camerawork, the video is a fever dream of epic proportions, yet remains grounded by Yamê's strong performance. 

Filmed at Villa Arson in Nice, the video fuses raw Brutalist architecture with Cameroonian cultural motifs, including spiral village designs that evoke ancestral and cosmic symbolism. 

Key VFX partner Monumental FX has provided standout CGI and set extension work, helping to fully realize the surreal architecture of Yamê’s internal world.

The end result is a rich, cinematic journey through the complex architecture of the self. Outstanding work.
