David Heofs directs a gorgeous promo for Omar Apollo, a visual tribute to the artist's Mexican origins. 

Inspired by contemporary art, fashion and culture, in Heofs' video for Spite we witness the discovery of freedom through dance and movement. The performance sections are intercut with dazzling conceptual vignettes, including a scene of motorcycle acrobatics performed by real policeman - a nod to Pedro Infante and his 1952 film A Toda Máquina. 

Tied together by some standout choreography, it's a gorgeous visual which imbues the lyrical frustration of long distance relationships into something elevated and cinematic.
