Lucy Rose finds a very capable stand-in performer in the video for Sail Away: none other than Danny Dyer.

Dyer - who is a big fan of Lucy's - offered to be in the video, and director Dylan Friese-Greene has responded to the challenge by providing a marvellous showcase for both the artist's song and in revealing a previously unseen side of one of Britain's best-loved 'hard men' actors.

Friese-Greene's video features an impressive lip sync performance from Dyer at the beach, as he floats above the water and leans into the surreality of the moment. With relaxing sunset vibes and a calming, transcendent concept, it's a tour de force of creative experimentation, and works brilliantly alongside the track. 

"I wanted to put Danny in a setting that felt a bit different and incongruous to places we’d seen before," explains Friese-Greene.

"We discussed playing it like he was on some mad trip, taking in the world in a really sensory way. Kudos to him for lip-syncing someone else’s song at double speed over the side of a boat."
