Richard Ellis directs a high-energy promo for Akinyemi, which sees the New York hip-hop artist on a mission to get to a rooftop house party.

Riding in the backseat of a car coasting around the wet New York City streets, Akinyemi hangs out of the window, delivering a playful and lively performance of his track Breathe to the camera. 

"This video was a real fun one to direct," Ellis says. "We kept the concept simple and focused on capturing the raw energy that Akinyemi throws at the camera."
