Sometimes, a video comes along which is utterly captivating, unique and a must-watch. This is one of those times. 

Directed by Snorre Fuglsang Ruhe, this hugely stylish hybrid short film/music video follows a scientist who invents the key to eternal life. A couple of thugs steal his invention and leave him and his daughter for dead, and in order to come back to life he sells his soul to the devil.

It soon launches into a slick series of ultraviolent vignettes, as armed only with a heart of vengeance and an axe, the main character hunts down the villains one by one...

Brilliantly shot, by DoP Kristoffer Engholm Aabo, and packed full of breathtaking action scenes, the video is a real tour de force of bloody, visceral revenge, with a heavy dose of surreal visual effects to elevate the narrative on-screen.
