A man can't quite wake up in Syra McCarthy's ethereal promo for Doncat.

The video for Baby Don't Dance is a portrait of the main character - played by the artist himself, aka Duncan Nielsen -  exploring the subconscious journeys we go on in our dream states, and the parallels they end up mirroring in our waking lives.

Flowing in and out of different locations and conceptual vignettes, the video incorporates choreographed movement and a sense of perpetual change, mirroring the surreality of dreams and the places our mind goes when on autopilot.
