Amun 'Done Me' by Pip + Lib
Rob Ulitski - 24th Nov 2020
Amun and friends take time for some R&R in a luscious country mansion, in Pip + Lib's promo for Done Me.
Centred on empowerment and flipping the script on usual UK rap videos, the concept boasts a series of relaxed vignettes, each coming together to celebrate what it means to be female and in charge of your own story.
PIP + LIB:
The idea behind the video is essentially a girlhood takeover.
"When it comes to UK rap we listen to male artists brag about getting girls and money. But the lane just isn't quite the same for women artists - yet. So when we heard Done Me, we were so fucken excited to make an empowering film with Amun. And it did not disappoint. The idea behind the video is essentially a girlhood takeover.
"In a mad expensive pad, Amun and her mates have a sick time and do whatever they fucken want - flipping the narrative on the usual male-heavy scenes we see. Big shout out to our art director Jonquil for making an entire fried chicken banquet - absolute queen."
