A restless fever dream blurs the line between reality and fiction in James McLean's video for Leftwing:Cody, featuring Camden Cox.Â
Intercutting frenetic setups of lead character Kyran O' Keefe desperately trying to escape his dreamworld, with glossy performance shots in an empty warehouse, the surreal vision is a perfect match for the upbeat track.
DP Scott Buxton utilises a vivid red and blue palette to add to the hypnotic aesthetic, whilst switching between extreme close-ups and wide shots to create a sense of imbalance and confusion.
