Blue Lab Beats 'Oooo Lala' by Jon E Price
Jon E Price's latest video for Blue Lab Beats - his follow-up to Pineapple - brings us a sweet mini-fantasy of London life. It centres around three friends who perform an impromptu dance piece in an East End cafe, while the girl waits for the waitress to bring her apple pie and custard.
Taking reference from the French expression 'Ooh la la', the dance is inspired by one of French New Wave's most iconic dance scenes, but visualised with eccentric Britishness. It works delightfully well for the band involved in the new wave of British jazz.
