Lu Xiao Wei directs a mesmerising promo for&nbsp;Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist Luna Li.&nbsp;On the pulsating&nbsp;streets of nighttime LA, we see Li drift around in a car with several friends, making several stops to perform an improv dance with her doppelgänger and cycle through different slick outfits.&nbsp;In a dreamlike haze of vignettes, Li shines through with an understated yet magnetic presence, whilst the ethereal cinematography and unexpected styling choices create a world that is very much tailored to the artist and her aesthetic.&nbsp;

Henry Dean has directed a fascinating music documentary for MJ Cole's first album in 17 years - and his first classical/ambient album -&nbsp;MJ Cole Presents&nbsp;Madrugada.Shot in Ukraine, in Kiev and Odessa, Dean's doc follows the lives of several unconnected individuals - the surfer, the mother, the lovers, the shepherd and the clubber. As it turns out, they are all linked by time: the fact that they are up and awake at the time of day when everyone else is asleep - just before dawn.The project has also become the basis for a number of&nbsp;music videos for tracks from the new MJ Cole album - still scenes which change from darkness tolight as dawn breaks, and a shorter, alternate version of the documentary for the track <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZGvEe12So4" target="_blank">Cathedral</a>.&nbsp;

Marthagunn explore isolation in the video for Heaven, directed by&nbsp;Daniel Alexander Harris.Switching between an energetic performance section&nbsp;shot in an unusual turquoise room and an abstract narrative, the video for Heaven focuses on short, snappy vignettes of different characters who are in some way isolated or&nbsp;reflecting on life, trying to work their way&nbsp;out of difficult situations.&nbsp;Shot with different shutter speeds in both sections, DoP Simon Plunket utilises the ghosting style effect as a haunting representation of the themes that run through the visual, to great effect. Unpretentious and to the point, this is an effective visualisation of the lyrics and song.&nbsp;&nbsp;
