After the audacious <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2023/07/05/bakar-alive-rubberband/82265" target="_blank">Alive!</a> - shot in Piccadilly Circus&nbsp;- rubberband. reunite with Bakar to direct another&nbsp;marvellous promo for the British singer-songwriter, bringing him to his audience&nbsp;in quite a different way.&nbsp;It begins in a stylised room interior, with Bakar at the keyboard, joined by two other musicians.&nbsp;It's filmed on a single locked-off camera in the corner of the room, and only when the view from the window&nbsp;starts to move that we realise that this room is quite literally being driven around as they perform, around the bustling streets of London.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Growing in energy as the performance progresses, the video ends with a group of fans crowding the room set, trying to get a glimpse of the artist.&nbsp;It's an inspired concept that takes a simple idea - inspired by Swedish comedy auteur Roy Andersson - and&nbsp;executes it brilliantly.&nbsp;"I’m Done was supposed to be a live performance video," reveal the directing duo. "But we wanted to drive a room around London as an homage to Roy Andersson’s You, The Living. So that’s what we did.”

The latest episode in Greg Barth's ongoing collaboration with Easy Life is the&nbsp;whimsical video for Have A Great Day - and takes us back to the summertime and the English seaside.This one was inspired by the photography of Martin Parr, and shot on a windy day in Broadstairs, it transforms&nbsp;a typical British day at the beach into a slightly surreal experience.&nbsp;The video experiments with cyclical camera movements and a postcard gag,&nbsp;resetting the scene after each cycle. The characters get progressively messier - both in the literal and figurative meaning of the word - as they throw ice creams, start play-fighting and falling over themselves.&nbsp;The inspired blend of visual effects and live action creates a mesmerising aesthetic. Playful, characterful, and on the verge of chaotic - just like a day at the seaside. And its very Easy Life.&nbsp;

Greg Barth's latest collaboration with Leicester indie-R&amp;Bers Easy Life takes its cue from their excellent previous work - and one video in particular - and the cover of their just-released debut album&nbsp;Life's A Beach.As always frontman Murray Matravers takes centre stage, in a fantastical scenario where his bandmates paly supporting roles - both to Murray and his giant goldfish friend.&nbsp;As Greg explains below, its a surreal sequel of sorts to the animated <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Db_Gf9z8jk" target="_blank">Message To Myself</a> video. It's also the latest in an extensive body of Easy Life work over the past couple of years by the Swiss-born and London-based director, from the video for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dQnXExTp2w" target="_blank">Nightmares</a> (featuring Jamie Demetriou of Stath Lets Flats) to the recent Gondryesque <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87U_l3AvyX0" target="_blank">Skeletons</a>.
