Cat Velez - 16th Sept 2015

BUG 48 came and went, leaving us with another round-up of great music video creativity, throught this neatly curated playlist, just for you.

We had some action-packed videos this month, with the thriller for The Chemical Brothers' Sometimes I Feel So Deserted by Ninian Doff, car crashes in Data's Don't Sing and in Robin Shulz's Sugar.

In a similar vein, some music videos were directly influenced by the gaming world, with the first person shooter video for Darwin Deez's Kill Your Attitude and On an On's It's Not Over by Carlos Lopez Estrada, in which a man races after his lover for miles in a very Nintendo 2D-plane fashion.

We also showed Everything Everything's Distant Past and Photoshop Handsome, with frontman Jon Higgs as our special guest for BUG 48 at BFI Southbank, talking to Adam about the videos he's directed for his band.

And there's were surfing zombies, mutant pacmans, and last but not least, two marvellous Kendrick Lamar videos...
