THUNDERLIPS' latest clip for New Zealand's newest alt-pop export indi is a hypnotic and eerie piece of sci-fi body horror.
Sheep, Dog & Wolf 'Breathe' by THUNDERLIPS
Auckland-based directing duo THUNDERLIPS - that’s Sean Wallace and Jordan Dodson – first collaborated with young mulitinstrumentalist and composer Daniel McBride, aka Sheep, Dog & Wolf, a few months ago on his video for Glare, a captivating piece that sees McBride trying to evade a particularly epic, fiery sunrise.
Their second collaboration for Breathe is equally captivating. It's a series of portraits of individuals at the peak moment of an intense experience – usually involving considerable stress. The situations range from the outwardly mundane to thrilling, to life-changing – chain-linked together by the superb edit. Just brilliant.
