Mads Neset takes us back to the World Of Walker - a dystopian future where an oppressed city is controlled by an evil corporation - for Norwegian DJ/Producer Alan Walker's collab with Daya.Following the Neset-directed videos for Hero and Better Off (Alone Pt 3), Heart Over Mind addresses the grinding routine in this future world and the courage required to break from the norm. The enigmatic, cinematic visual is breathtakingly executed, and whilst it exists as a chapter within a wider narrative, it very much stands confidently as its own piece too. "Crafting music videos within this story universe is always a fun task, and being able to start a new storyline was exciting to break to the fans," Neset explains."Alan is very mindful of this universe and you have to adhere to a lot of characters, timelines, and various established themes, but that is most of the fun. It is really like stepping into a very established IP and sticking true to that "lore" as much as possible to not disappoint his fans."I really tried to get the video to live within the universe Alan has created, but also try to have an underlying theme that I think we all can relate a little to in our own day-to-day life," Neset continues."It can be repetitive, and the feeling of being stuck in a strict regime of a life is a universal feeling we all have felt and the guts it takes to break out of that cycle can be daunting."

Souvid Datta presents Episode 2 of the Silent Spaces series, following last month's Messengers.Many of us have been limited to confined spaces during the pandemic, the impact felt both on our minds and bodies. In this second episode set in Manchester, brothers Soumik and Souvid Datta invite the viewer to break free of lockdown constraints, celebrating the power of movement and our physical bodies.Steeped in a history of Olympic swimming teams, baths, a Post Office and a train station, the industrial Mayfield area - now repurposed as a nightclub - embodies the true spirit of rejuvenation and change.The concept is composed and performed by Soumik Datta on live electronics, with a team of prolific Manchester based contemporary dancer-choreographers. The beats build from soft, organic drips (recorded on site) to a pulsating EDM hook, charting the positive impact that dancing and letting loose has on the body and our mental health.A vibrant showcase of sound and visuals, the promo plays on everyday dichotomies to achieve the dynamic concept - light and dark, movement and stillness, reality and fantasy - which form together to produce something poignant and hopeful.

The world comes together to celebrate movement and music in Filip Nilsson's video for Major Lazer and Marcus Mumford.For the project, Nilsson curated user-generated clips from 28 countries, with only one instruction- "Do your best. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Be yourself. We like you as you are.”Nilsson and his team enlisted renowned choreographer Ryan Heffington to devise the dance routine. "We then uploaded a video tutorial to 'shoot bibles' we created - one for dancers, one for musicians - and distributed to talent we’d found online or through casting agents," explains Object & Animal executive producer Dom Thomas. As a result, the team received a mind-boggling 1000 clips from 28 countries. Filip then directed Marcus Mumford - already a dab hand at self-shooting from his own lockdown video for You'll Never Walk Alone - via Skype. Then in Sweden, Andreas Arvidsson worked with Nilsson to edit the bank of footage, using just over 100 clips and never repeating an individual - with the exception of Mumford. The resulting crowd-sourced visual is simple and stripped-back, yet full of energy, character, diversity, and hope. It's an uplifting thing, a testament to our society's collaborative nature and ability to create moments of joy in the most unusual of circumstances.
