Jim Longden and Bakar capture the spirit of the long hot summer of 2026 with their third collaboration. 

The video for New Order Freestyle (It's About Time) is a breezy slice of life, following Bakar as he runs down suburban streets early one morning accompanied by his mate on a bicycle. 

Shot on film, in a freeflowing style that's familiar to previous Bakar vids - it was shot with a crew of four, and the shoot started at 5am - it feels gritty yet nostalgic, with a documentary feel.

One aspect is that the English national flag appears in a way that references hope rather than menace - the hope that England finally wins the World Cup. So the upbeat song and Bakar's performance, wrapping himself in a version of the English flag, captures a moment that briefly bubbled up this summer.

Could England actually win it this time? Er, no. But it's a nice (and lasting) way to memorialise the fleeting hope.
