Sinclair drops The Last Dinner Party into a Hollywood fever dream, where glamour and illusion unravel, in a confident new chapter of the British rock band's flamboyant visual universe.

The Paris-based Australian director's video for Knocking At The Sky reimagines Hollywood through a surreal blend of noir, B-movie horror and psychedelic fantasy. There's a dizzying mix of eras and aesthetics on show, with a Lynchian-style subversion of conventiional narrative in favour of pure atmosphere. 

It's an experiment in visual creativity, leaning into the on-screen charisma of lead singer Abigail Morris - she's mesmerising in the poolside close-up vignette - and a strong accompaniment to the track. In fact, the group's performance, imbued with a sense of unabashed freedom and fun, acts as a strong throughline that binds everything together.

Kudos also to Sinclair's team at Pulse Films who made it happen: this homage to the iconic eras of Hollywood and the history of moving image was actually filmed entirely in London.
