Colin Peppard directs an atmospheric narrative promo for Dublin-based rock band The Scratch.
In the video for Gladrags, John McIntyre - a ‘golden waistcoat’-winning snooker icon obsessed with ritual and routine - faces a new wave of chaotic and unprofessional players. As their behaviour gnaws at him, he starts to crack under the pressure and old habits resurface.
Boasting a gritty, textural aesthetic and sharp performances, it's a gripping visual, capturing the dichotomy between calm and chaos within a tight, one-location concept.
