Peaches 'No Lube So Rude' by Matt Lambert

Promonews - 22nd Jan 2026
Peaches is back. And the irrepressible musician, producer and performance artist is on a mission to save the world through sexual pleasure - in Matt Lambert's ininhibited madcap sex comedy for the title track from her forthcoming album.
Produced in collaboration with indie erotic filmmaker Erika Lust, and featuring performers and icons from the Berlin underground and Queer community, the video for No Lube So Rude sees Peaches in her formidable glory as the leader of the defenders of great, well-lubricated sex.
It's a cartoonish, raw and brazen showcase for the indominatible artist, giving appropriate licence for Peaches' outrageousness and theatricality with a nod to those totems of indie queer cinema, Derek Jarman and John Waters - as well as Tank Girl and Wilhelm Reich’s writing on sexual revolution.
Filmed on location at the Queer Wagen Collective Marzipan on the outskirts of wintry Berlin and choreographed by Constanza Macras - the choreographer behind the stand-out moments of films such as Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things and The Favourite - the video asserts Peaches' mantra that sexual repression as a root of fascism and orgasm as the antidote.
The serious point here is how Peaches, Lambert and Lust insist on explicit pleasure as a political act of resistance to repression. So it's timely. And if you are so inclined there is an extended explicit cut is available on ERIKALUST.com.
