Alexander Wolfe 'Everythinglessness' by Joe Dixon
Rob Ulitski - 14th Jan 2026
Joe Dixon directs an evocative black and white promo for Alexander Wolfe, his third and final visual for his album Everythinglessness.
The video for the album's title track finds Wolfe in a studio environment, performing as textural projections spill over the walls and his body, offering visual context to the lyrics. Both cinematic and intimate, it is pure performance, also featuring dance work from the charismatic Malin Edmondson, who also featured in the video for The Toughening that kicked off this three-part collaboration between Wolfe and Dixon.
"The song is an intimate exploration of the pressures facing young men today, and it’s a story that resonates with my own experiences going to a pretty rough London state school." explains Dixon. "It was also written during a period of serious mental health struggle for Alex and although it is fictionalised, it traces his own recovery."
Dixon adds that he has worked closely with Wolfe across the three videos. "Alex has been incredibly collaborative, and together we found a raw, unvarnished aesthetic that runs consistently through each video," he says.
"I’ve loved working so closely with Alex across these films, as well as on a series of short conversations with his close friend, the comedian Spencer Jones - which are well worth checking out."
