Mason Treen directs a sharp, self-aware video for nineteen97 latest (and possibly final EP), which begins as the Midlands rapper tries to announce his retirement from music to a disbelieving crowd at a press conference.

Featuring three tracks from CUDDABEENA*, the video written by Treen and Devanté Barrett uses humour and drama and a distinctive black and white aesthetic to let us into nineteen97's world. He reveals his intentions to his manager, evades a chasing press pack, announces on a podcast he's retiring, and gets bad-mouthed by a customer at the barbershop - and then performs the EP's central track 'a * is a myth'.

Witty, stylish and offering an insight into the man himself... and hopefully he's not that serious about turning his back on the rap game, just yet.
